The material reflects a mix of organic drones, desolate Dark Ambient and clinical Power Electronics. Deep pulses and crisp analog tones churn and drift to create a feel that stands with few comparisons. A pervasive dark ambiance unfolds.
The first collaborative full length release from soundscape / noise artists, Scott Candey (GRUNTSPLATTER) and Chet W. Scott (RUHR HUNTER). "The Cessation of Spoil" draws from the styles of both respective projects, but ultimately sounds quite different from either. TRIAGE has certainly cut a path askew from much of what is being released, still to this very day...A tragically underrated collaboration!
Triage made its first audio appearance on the "Baited Breath" double cassette compilation. A limited to 100 pressing published by Live Bait Recording Foundation. The track was entitled "Organism." A full length album entitled "The Cessation Of Spoil" here on Glass Throat was to follow.
Die CD ist in sehr gutem Zustand. Das Case und der Silberling haben kaum sichtbare Gebrauchsspuren. Nur das Booklet war wohl mal falsch eingelegt und man sieht die Abdrücke der Halterungen, aber es spielt alles einwandfrei. Falls ihr die Songs im mp3-Format braucht, und keine Möglichkeit habt, die CD selbst zu rippen, lasst es mich wissen. Ich kann euch die mp3-Files per Download zur Verfügung stellen. Das gilt übrigens für alle CDs, die ich hier anbiete.
